I think the Supra you are talking about is the one tuned by Top Secret (japanese tuner). It has a deep golden color (as seen on all other Top Secret vehicles like the R33 and the MRSpyder). Anyhowz, the owner of TS brought his car from Japan to Europe and was gunning to break the 200mph limit. However I don't believe he broke the record because the police jacked his ass before he could pull it off. He almost went to jail for it, and almost lost his car, but he got out on a huge bail. At least that's how the story went, not sure if he went back to try again. www.mkiv.com reported this story about a year and a half ago, not sure if the article is still on that site.

how many of those supras did they make, cuz those pics are of 2 different cars. the first one has a big spoiler and the other 2 have little ones.

Nowbody's mention anymore F40 stuff on the F40 Guy but, I saw the video and he did 320 km/h on a backroad (In JPN I think) and then he got busted after selling a tape to an Undercover cop.

PS. He was also the president of Japan's Ferrari Club.

Another question:
I heard there was a guy that took his Viper ACR, 400 kms to Montreal and he ran out of gas at the airport after having escaped the cops many times. Supposedly Chrysler paid the bail, the fine, etc.

Is this true? Anyone hear of that?

i don't believe that... chrysler wouldn't want somebody to do some criminal type thing.... why would they pay for it?

HEY GUYS... about the police thing and them doing 200 mph.. i think it's possible becuase of the open emissions they get.. i don't think they have to abide by the same street legality rules for their exhaust as us street drivers do so they can go to MAD CRAZY SPEEDS

Whhhhhhhhat I dont think so, why would they pay someone to so crazy????? And yet I do beleave that a person who knew how to drive a viper plus drift and all the goodies could pull that off!!!!! But can't say that I have heard anything of it!!!!
