I myself found it funny. It was plainly obvious that the mood of the film was funny-stupid. You know, stuff that's so ridiculous it's funny? And in that respect, I think it's done its job. I think I'll probably buy it when it comes out. It's definitely a movie to watch with friends. And I bet beer would make it even better (or marijuana, whatever floats your boat).

I went and saw this movie opening night. I found it very hilarious (nothing on Old School, but still funny.) I agree that Stephen Colbert stole the show. He was undoubtedly the funnest character throughout the movie. Movies like this are always funner the second time you see them. I give Anchorman a 7 out of 10...

Fucking Great!!!
I love the movie....slow at the beginning but killed me after. I recommend all of you go watch it NOW! Definetly something to watch with a pack of friends (leave the girl at home for this one) I love the part where Veronica and Ron are fighting as the credits roll and Ron says "Im going to punch you in your ovaries"  I laughed so fucking hard

i personally thought it was funny as hell, kinda crappy ending but overall funny as hell. i personally think the phone booth scene was the best, but the weather man was pretty funny too

We hardly ever go to movies anymore. we bought a big screen tv a month ago and since movies go to video much quicker than they used to we just wait. Some movies, like LOTR, you had to do the theater. Prices also suck, they keep going up higher.
I dunno why, I used to look forward to movies starring former SNL stars, but I guess I just don't care too much these days.
