I agree, if you're going to do something stupid in your vehicle it probably is SAFER to do so at night since there are fewer vehicles (Safer for the OTHER guy, that is!) However, just because there are fewer cars on the road does not mean there are fewer cops on the road. In fact, the cop-to-driver ratio is MUCH higher in some areas! And while cops are hard to see at night if they are sitting in the dark off the road, YOU are more likely to stand out if you're the only car on the road!

And if you DO get caught for doing something stupid on the road at night, do you think you'll be treated more fairly by the police? Don't you think they are sick of dealing with morons (much less gangstas that threaten their lives!) by the end of the day? Could it be they are tired and cranky also? No doughnut shops open this late? Are your friends going to bail you out of jail at 3:00 AM? At the very least, it would stand to reason that the cop will not be as likely to believe your "visiting grandma" story and let you off the hook! At worst, you could become the next victim of police brutallity. After all, who's there to see what REALLY happened?

No, LEGO will stick to doing stupid stuff from the comfort of home... like spending 2-1/2 prescious hours posting on Internet blogs instead of reading a book!

The BEST time is early Sunday morning, after sun up, but before 8 or 9 am.
Fri and Sat. nights are the worst times, because everyone else is driving drunk and /or like idiots, too.
Furthermore, try a RURAL area for silly stuff. Who's going to complain when there is no one around? That way, you can pile your car into a ditch with impunity.

Re: Best time to do do stupid stuff

i remember one time during the summer my friend and i were out at 3 in the morning coming back from a party. completely sober, since neither one of us drink or smoke. and he was like its 3 in the morning you can do what ever you want. so there was this low median that was probably 25 feet wide, with grass on each side. so he pulls on to it and does only like 40 in a 25. we get off the median and who do we see up about 2 streets... thats right the 5-0, luckily he didnt see us. that was the last time we did anything like that again. lol

Re: Best time to do do stupid stuff

the best time, is anytime, just find an empty road, thats where me and my friends race, theirs this newly paved road about 7 miles out of my home town, and the road has no houses on it, and it gets like 10 cars in 24 hours, and we just dont do anything stupid, and we go within our limits

the best time is in your driveway, not on the road, that nullifys a few laws.

Re: Best time to do do stupid stuff

u can do stupid stuff any time, just be on a abandoned road or something. a week ago my friend and i were on a abandoned dirt road when we saw a bridge that was broken, about a 3-4 foot gap. so what did we do? we decided to jump it! we hit hella hard but landed it. funniest shit ever. we decided to turn around and do it on the way back. but we didnt realize till after that the other side was a little steaper. he bottomed out on it then went over and slammed hard and his right front blew. hes got a pos 4-door '91 accord, so he didnt care. but man that was definetely worth it!
