I think i have the same problem. It got worse recently, it seems like there is a choke on, or lack of fuel or something. i could not even get up to the speed limit today(in a school zone nonetheless)haha.
I cannot seem to locate the egr valve, and have tried to find a schematic, or photo's, but came up empty.

Does anyone have a photo of the location of the valve????

then i'll detach the vac tube, and see what happens.......
