So the flywheel off of the 305 will fit on my 350? Because if it will I will make sure I use it on the 700r4 tranny.

just leave the flywheel on your 350 and bolt the 700R4 up to it. i'm about 90% sure that your 305 flywheel wont fit on your 350 crank. in 1987 when GM fucked with the small blocks and changed the bolt cant on the heads, and went to one peice rear seal, they also changed the diameter of the hub on the end of the crankshaft. your 305 flywheel's bolt holes will line up, but it wont slide over the hub on the end of the crank.
i found this out when i put a first gen 350 into an 88 camaro that originally had a 305.

o really... hmmm..i dunno if it would work or not... my flywheel wouldnt line up.. the converter for the th350 is smaller then the one on the 700r4
