I wasn't asking because I thought you were lying, I just knew you didn't write that. Turns out it's copyrighted material, in the future when you qoute something that's copyrighted you should at least respectfully cite your source. Truthfully you should post only the link and not the material, as it's against the law to reuse that without prior consent.

Whatever, you still need to give credit to the sources. I myself write articles online, and there's nothing more frustrating than someone plagiarizing my work without giving me any credit. A good bit of time and effort goes into creating a good article (not to mention the years of learning behind the author's knowledge), the least a reader can do is give the author credit when qouting them. Slow connections or not, give the author credit and DO NOT copy legally protected material onto other sites without prior permission. 'Nuff said.

Ps- Some of my writings are actually copyrighted, and I WILL go after those that copy them with no respect to the author.

This is not personal, I was merely making an example based upon my prior experiences regarding copyrighted material. AF is the one on the hook if we allow people to post copyrighted material in these forums, not you, and I was trying to handle it personably by illustrating your minor error without drawing upon the need for personal messages (which always illicit more negative personal repsonses in my experience), and to which I corrected this error to the best of my ability while additionally explaining what you should instead do in the future regarding such posts. And further, I posted this information not just for your eyes but so that all others reading this would understand exactly what the rules of conduct are in such cases. So don't get your panties in a wad, I make mistakes too and don't get all freaked out when someone points them out. I formally apologize if it seems like I am singling you out, but for the benefit of the entire user group here at AF I stand by my actions. AF cannot condone the unauthorized posting of copyrighted material in any of it's forums, and reserves the right to notify any and all registered members of this fact.

it's pretty obvious he wasn't the one who wrote the article. I mean how could he talk about both of them in that way without actually seeing/hearing/driving them in person.

I think all he would've had to do is add the link to it.. If people go after him for copyright infringement because he posted it on a message board, then they are extremely anal retentive and shouldn't have their articles on the net but in print instead lol

My opinion and it's copyrighted so don't go stealing it
