The only problem with sponsorship is that you either got to race it or show it.

I could never stomach all the stuff that goes with show cars. Body kits, rims, TVs etc

And my Z is much too nice inside and out to strip down into a race car.

So I'm kind of SOL when it comes to sponsors.

But hey, I've applied and maybe some lightning bolt will strike twice some where and I'll get some cash.

How is your sponsor working out for you? They pretty free with it or are they acting like its their car?

actually man, im waiting on the contract in the mail still, but basically they said yeah just do 4 shows a year, work our stands and hand out apps. They didnt say anything about changing color, making it this way or that. they just said yeah go have fun. here is some cash. Only thing that is a little weird, is the 20-50% they pay for parts and labor but hey, its not 100% but its not 0% either, ill take the help i can get, ive drained my bank account numerous times to get this thing up to par or whatever the saying

I'd love going to shows if I had something to be proud of...which I would/will. It'd be fun. I'd gladly go to any and every damn show they want.

that is weird that they don't pay all of the parts. i always thought they did. oh well, like you said, i would also take any help i could get. but if they start telling stuff to put on it that would rice it out, please don't do it.

dont worry, im all about keeping it real. and MY PREFERENCE. its still my car, they just want me to use their parts and the complying companies, and the ones i want not the ones they want. like maybe ill get deals from paint or tire places to "try them out" freebie. but who knows.
