Re: price of a 240sx

1,800 = 1991 SE coupe, 190,000, rebuilt engine, runs awesome, new clutch, body OK, black paint is terribly faded and the dash is cracked, but don't let that fool ya! Baby's got it where it counts!

Re: price of a 240sx

Sleeper? Cheap? KA-t. It is the KA24DE or SOHC with a turbo. T3 at 5psi will put you at approx. 215hp and approx. 14.5 give or take depending on how well you can drive. This will cost about 1000-1500 depending on how well you shop. www.ebaymotors.com is a great help. You don't need any fuel or computer mods to run this. Upgraded fuel system is recommended, but is not necessary. Injectors and either SAFC or FMU if you go over 5psi. 240sxforums has an entire section devoted to these. I recommend reading up on this and buying some kind of literature on turbos. Test your compression in the meantime.

Re: price of a 240sx

I would like to get a 95 but I have a fastback and I love it. Fastback will be cheaper, but the 95 probably has lower miles. Miles don't really matter if you are swapping, but I plan to KA-T my fastback and the low miles are nice.

I like the newer coupes, but all 240s are pretty nice.

And now for my new possible car...98 240sx for 8900...a little steep, but I'm hoping to bargain them down if my friend doesn't buy the car. I'm not sure if I'm getting it yet, but with any luck I'll have it...it's auto, but I plan to do a lot to it so that should change quick.

I envy all of you 240 owners...even though your car is basically a 2 seater with less power (stock) than my car...lol...I SHALL HAVE ONE SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!
