s2000 VS 350 v8 Trans am

What the TA lost through the corner, it would make up leaving the corner in acceleration. And since not all tracks are 100 % curves, I think the T/A would win.

the trans am will be ahead on straights once they hit the corner the trans am is ahead by a nice amount the s2000 might gain a little since it can handle better but the trans am is gonna come of the corner again raping the s2000. it can't win, and know that a trans am doesn't have horrible handling its decent, just not as good as s2000. trans am will win hands down

Especially with a good driver, the TA would know how to handle the corners well enough to beat the s2000

TA would win on straight, but seein as how thats not as fun as cornering, The S2000 would be my choice to own. Plus it looks 10x better than the TransAm

^ looks are subjective, lets not get a full on another domestic vs import war goin again. The trans am is more diesel and aggressive looking, the S2k is more stylish and smooth, but dare I say girly looking b/c it is so small and "cute". Anyways it just depends on track and driver, no question TA would own s2k on straight line but on twisties with a lot of curves, S2k would own b/c the TA would have to brake around corners the whole time.

i thought the same thing as publicenember when i read the title of the thread about thre being a 350z in it. anyways, like everybody has been saying, the trans am would take the s2k in straight line, but on a track with lots of twisties, it will be more of a close race.

Transam is a white trash mobile. It doesnt take any smarts or technology to build a V8. It takes real skill to build a 4 cyl to push hp

Actually, it takes a lot of technical know-how and skill to build an LS-series motor, the greatest smallblock V8 EVER!!! They are just as technical as a 4-banger, they are just bigger because (surprise) they are faster. I don't have to prove anything, they have proved themselves.
