actually, the JDM cyclone manifold LOOKS cooler, but the performance gains in reality are NOT worth the money you would spend on it. Leave it. Get your existing one ported. shum.

Is anyone going to answer the original question? The inputs on not getting the JDM engine were heard, like I've said before, I can get the JDM 4g63t probably for the same price as the regular 4g63t....I just need some specs, that is all

You keep going on like a broken record. There is no information that you need to know to choose a US engine over a JDM. Recap:
1. The only difference is the intake manifold 2. The cyclone manifold has more low end torque but flows LESS air than a 2g on the top end. 3. The 'stats' are that the JDM has 220hp. It's because of less emissions regulations and tuning. Probably in the ECU, NOT the manifold. 1g is better, aftermarket is better. I hear most of the cyclone manifolds aren't even installed right, since they are a dual runner system. Quote:
