I have to wonder why they didn't have a phone though...

That would depend if it were, say, Yogs posting it, vs. ChaserTourV.

If it was serious, I would call 911 for anybody on here.

I thought about the same thing too when I first read it. I would hope others would be serious about something like this if it were to ever come up. But I would take it serious and definately do something about it if someone else were calling for help through AF. Hopefully someone would do the same for me.

I was going to say that as well......

That's pretty powerful, I'm highly impressed.
Through the arrogance, and ignorance on the internet, there is one computer to rule them, one computer to bind them, and in the....wait...
I mean, there are some nice people out there

Yes, for one thing they'd still get charged for the helicopter. You think ambulances are expensive, oh boy.

Re: The power of the internet:

Yea, I think it's like $10,000 USD for a helicopter call.

Re: The power of the internet:

I know it's a lot, my husband got lifeflighted a few years back, I think it was the time he got hit by the Buick. Anyway, his parents are still paying for it.

It won't just be the $10k, they would also bill for the 100+ miles out and back.
