Re: speedometer/odometer not working
Weather permitting, this may be my project for this week-end. Is it much trouble to take the cluster out? I've got a Chiltons and a Haynes so at least I've got pictures and instructions.

There are lots of screws and parts that snap together. The plastic circuit film on the back has a couple connectors soldered in place that snaps into the back of the instrument panel. Two halves of the instrument panel snap together with a number of plastic tabs, so be careful unsnapping them after removing all screws. I don't recall having a lot of trouble with it.
I took the opportunity to change out all of the instrument lights as well while they were exposed. There are two types, both physically the same, but different wattage. |

help, i have a 92 saturn sl2, everything works but odometer and tripmeter. i replaced the instrument cluster with a new unit and still no luck, whats next? my speedo works fine
