if you go to the thread of your S15 kartoon, i have provided a brutally honest approach to car drawing. there is much more i can say about this, but you must begin and not be too scared away nor intimidated away. this is a brutal and painful time you must face ahead of you. and you must discover a way that makes it worth your while, makes it fun while you are in torture.

in short, you will be in pain and feel helpless. but this is not how it will always be. you must accept that you are in command here. not the car.

read the post in your kartoon thread.

Re: Re: where do u start?

I start out doing lines and scribbling until i see something, then take the eraser on my pencil and start erasing things until you get a car. The last things i do are the wheels, because they depend on the angle of the drawing.

I'm kinda with RB26...most of the time I start with the hood and angle of the windshield and then I just complete the front end shading and all, then start workin with the back end. Wheels are always last for me too.

Re: where do u start?

yes. i do the wheels lastly as well. that is often the most critical part. and they are angle-dependent.

I start from the side skirt most times, but not always...
