This guy annoys the hell out of me. Yea, he does some magic. But sitting in a box for so many days without food isn't a trick. I loved the south park episode making fun of him.

Re: David Blane

Man that video is like 3 years old or something..
Notice how he keeps the chest mold hidden by pulling his shirt over it a few times? Oh well magic is for pure entertainment so who cares if it's real or fake?

Re: David Blane

Yea, magic is just entertainment...it's not real. And David Blane seems to do a good job at entertaining people. I personally like watching the stuff he does.

Re: David Blane

Yeah, like how he'll seemingly levitate about 2-3 feet off the ground. Illusion or not it's fucking impressive.

That's unknown to my database of logic and figuration.

I dunno, its unknown. there cant be any wires or anything, cuz i saw this guy do it in real life in the middle of Times Square.

Re: David Blane

first off, for the fake chest thing, when it first starts off you see a little line right below his left titty (or watever you wanna call it.)

second off for the elevation thing, what he does it he uses the 45% elevation trick that so many people know, and then he comes back with his stunt crew and shit, and then he elevates with wires and crap, tahts why whenever it shows him levitating from the feet, the videocamera is allways straight on teh back of his feet, yet when he performs it its 45% to the people. Also when it shows him levitating, it never shows the people's faces aroudn him, it allawys shows their waist area, which is simple done by getting peopel to wear similar clothes to the people that were originally watching.

David Blaine's tricks are pure bullshit, if you want to know how to do some more, you can go ahead and ask me, and i'll explain each and every one of them to you, since i used to be hardcore into magic, and i like studied his video thorougly.

"Pure bullshit" as in fake? Umm...DUH! We all know that. I don't think anyone in here believes in magic.
