Re: Still around

This seems to have turned into a gas price discussion.

damnnnnn.............last week we hit $2.75 a gallon here in minnesota, then just yesterday i went to get gas and it was down to $1.85 for premium so i filled up on $15 witch at$2.75 whould have only gotten mt a half a tank. im sure they wont stay this low up here its ever changeing up here one days its ultra low (mostly on the days im broke) but then as soon as i get my paycheck go to put gas in the car the damn price's went up agian. i went to the twin cities (minniapolis/st. paul) last week and was hoping to get some cheap gas and almost passed out when i noticed gas was $3.50 a gallon, i said to myself "screw this" drove to a differnt gas staition to find they where $3.75, drove to another to find they where also at $3.75, at this time i couldent remember where i saw it for $3.50 at so i ended up paying $3.75 a gallon witch ended up spending half my trip money on one tank of gas witch cut my trip down to 1 of the 15 hobby shops i was going to visit that day.

1 gallon is 3.75 litres...so 1 litre is almost 1/4 of a gallon. I need about €50 (US$60) to fill my 45 ltr gas tank.

This would be just fine if the minimum wage wasn't €300 (US$360) PER MONTH!!

Here in Alaska its about $2 for unleaded. I remember when gas prices were around a $1 or so in Alaska. And that within 10 years! Oil rich state

So, we in the U.S. pay too much for gas -- and you guys elsewhere pay way too much.

$1.89 here in pittsburgh, although 104 octane is somewhere in the neighborhood of $4.25 at the drag strip, so i havent been seeing as many people at the races the last couple of weeks...
