I had two different cars in highschool, a 1984 Dodge Daytona and a 1985 AMC Jeep Wagoneer.

It's the same one I drive now, 9 years later LOL. But, I've also got a jeep now (my beater with a heater for winter/hauling stuff), and a 91 civic sedan that I bought for my girlfriend.

Here's my first car, being towed over to my friends house where a 350 was fitted into it. (It's an ongoing project thatwas set on the backburner when I got the Mustang). It's a 1972 LandCruiser FJ40. Trust me people, you don't know the meaning of 'shitty gas mileage'. I had to fill this things tank every WEEK and I only drove it about 120 miles or so weekly. But it was cool as hell! Take the doors out and kick your free leg out onto the Nerf bar, it was all about cruisin in that thing!

When I got the car, the last owner just put new Michelin X-One tires on. I'll wait until I burn through these tires, then buy wheels. That won't be for a while though, treadwear on these are 660!

i bought my first car when i was 18. it was a 95 ford probe-which is the cheapest car i could afford with airbags.

Re: Post UR High School Car!

Don't really have a HS car, but started driving around a p.o.s. 1989 Dodge Caravan that was handed down by my parents right after HS. That broke down the next summer after I graduated.

I paid for mine...all of it, including insurance, and a new clutch, plus all the goodies.

Re: Post UR High School Car!

They didn't have cameras when I was in high school.First car was a '69 Mini Traveller with thres months test certificate left to run...the floor under the pedals had rotted away completely.Had to cut and rivet a section of Dad's garage shelving under the floorpan to get leverage on the gas pedal. He was not happy.....

Also had to unbolt the seat mounts and weld a custom cross-member about 6 inches back from the original.Only way I could fit my legs in without molesting the steering wheel.
