my recommendation is not to get anything especially fast. don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that you won't be able to handle it, I'm merely suggesting that, in the long run, it'll be better to drive a less showy, slower car. this is not because I'm jealous of you opportunity. I come from a poor family and have been poor all my life. I have had two friends that had more advantages than me, one of them got fucked up in a car accident he had while driving his BMW too fast on a mountain road while drunk. The other is a spoled prick who doesn't appreciate anything, had his house purchased FOR HIM BY HIS PARENTS, is a total prick, and makes fun of me for driving a car made by honda just because he didn't have to pay for his 35000 car. I would wait until you have the means to buy it on your own; by that time you'll probably have all of your stupid tendencies under control and will better appreciate it.

Amendment: The above was not intended to discourage you or make judgements about your driving skill or personality. It is simply my opinion that you should have the self control not to buy too expensive or powerful a car until you're maybe at least a year or two older, and can appreciate both sides of the power curve, and have a finer appreciation for the car itself.

Damn I can be long-winded

hooby

your right, i kinda went off on ya but you were trying to make morgnum feel like this rich prick...and that aint cool. Your right about you not provoking me but i hate it when people say shit that honstly has no point to what hes asking, he asks a question then you reply with a reason why you hate people like him.

Your right about the saturn, they are pretty good cars for the price, but lets not get carried away...en Evo would trash just about an Saturn.

sorry hooby, but you just came off as the type of person whos jealous.maybe you dont like people buying things for you but its cool with morgnum and thats pretty much all that matters.

blackevo...you need to calm down, i agree it might be better to buy something yourself but then again its his choice not yours and if hes in the position to get an EVO anyway possible, go for it, you will not have a chance like that in awhile. His parents probably worked hard for that money and they just want the best for their kids, let it alone

I'll put it this way:
1) If you want a gold-digger chick, get the BMW.
2) If you want a really cool chick, (not that an Evo will for sure get you that, but anyway) and you want to have mega fun, get the Evo.

I really WASN'T trying to make him feel like a prick....and I appologize if you see it that way, but I really wasn't.

I did get to his question....it just took a couple of posts I said it, because I felt it needed to be said....
