Updates:

UPDATES:

The top has been chopped, and the backlight has been angled at a much shallower angle, and it has been lengthened. The front of the rood was choped a scale 3-1/2" and the rear a scale 3". I just puttied it up for reinforcement as well as smoothing the joints. Later on the B-Pillars will be removed and a longer sleaker door and window will be put in. I will post some sketches for this project later.

Ta-dah.

yo sup nice car there its gonna look hot when its done, but caddy i'm pretty sure you dont have to do anything with the window pieces i think you just put them in without any cutting involved unless all the windows are connected then you would have to cut each window in individuals and put the glass in that way for like the back window and the back vent windows

well if its chopped then the windows are going to have to be cut because they are matched up for the stock body. Im just wondering how you cut them.

Re: Wild '37 Ford Coupe -Progress-

hey gtmike just a suggestion you might wanna putty up that gas tank cover cuz it dont look right with the chopped top most people cover that up and smoothe the fender so the car has a nice smooths look to it ya know that gas tank kinda takes away from the slek look when u paint it you will see it and it wont give you that smoothe sleek look it will be alll smoothe and then BAM!! theres the gas tank cover . so thats somehting to think about . it would probably help the car out alot more .

Thanks. The windows, well the rear will be a custom made, the front will probably be custom as well. Therefore they will be made out of clear styrene.

B. I know what the hell I am doing. Im not an idiot savant. I have built real hot rods before.

C. Your spelling and grammar is atrocious.

See, now that was uncalled for, ok.I was making a suggestion and I wanted to know what Macdaddy thought . Too bad that 1950 ford on my thread is going to look a hell of a lot better than this car but I must say it is coming out well .Oh and if you look at my thread I know the 1949 mercury isnt really that good .

ok your officially an ass. From what little ive seen of Mikes building skills i can see he knows alot and has awsome talent at building models. Dont tell people how to build their own models..and dont tell people that your a better builder then them.

I believe I said the argument was over. The next person to open his mouth gets a 7 day suspension.
