I had some blue turn signals on my 99 accord and they were on there for like half a year. Now i live in Georgia and have no problem with them at all but durring the week I go up to Clemso, SC for college and on night i got in late and was driving to the lot to park and was turning and had to wait for the car coming my way before I could go. Well i put on my turn light and as the car was passing I noticed that it was the CLEMSON cops. Well i looked back as I was turning and he had slamed on his brakes and I knew something was up. So i hurried to find a parking spot, which isn't easy todo at that time of night. So i find a spot and get out and start walking back. As im walking a cop SLOWLY passes me and looks me down, i just keep walking and the cop puls into the row(out of 15 he could have went to) where my car is, and stops...where my car is. Now I walkl just a little farther and another cop comes around the corner. He does the same thing to me just that right after he passes me he stops and calls me over to him.......
He was like what car do u drive what color is it and o yeah do u have blue turn signals. So i said i did, knowing that the other cop was right at my car, and he was like "get in the car" well i went back and sure enough the other cop was out with his flashlight looking EVERYWHERE on my car. They gave me alot of crap about the laws and shit and how they needed to be changed....well atleast i didnt get a ticket but i liked my lights.......o well i just picked some hood lights up....he he he.....

That sucks, i just got my clear corners and bumpers in and i got the blue turn signal lights and the hyper white corner lights. so far i havent had a problem with them. i hope i dont either. i dont wanna take them out. i love the looks to them. They shouldnt worry about these things, there only lite up when your turning. its not like there on all the time. i hate these things. they need to get rid of the d*cks. bring in the young cops. every cop that is young that has seen me with my blue LED windshield washer lights havent done nor said a thing to me. its the older cops that are the a$$holes about these things.

does she live in atlanta too or does she live in another state? i only ask about another state because you said she goes to college so maybe shes going to a different college than you. but uyeah i dont know why some cops care and some dont. i mean my blue windshield washer lights are REALLY bright. i've seen some poeples who were pretty dull. but mine are really bright. and i've had cops turn in front of me, sit across the street from me at lights and they havent done anything about them to me yet. but who knows. there just d*cks with no life.

i've seen some cars with them hooked up to the turn signals and i personally didnt like them. i just hooked them up to a light up switch i bought from Pep Boys. you need a ground wire (black) from your battery or any place on your chasis that has ground. Then you need a positive wire (red) from your battery or cd player or any positive wire in your car. Thats basically all you need unless your going to use the light up switch. if you are, then your going to have to send the main positive wire from your battery or wherever to the middle plug on the switch, then the red wire from the lights to the positive plug on the switch. i then believe you hook both the ground wires from the lights and the battery/chasis to the last plug on the switch. its a lot easier to wire up if you dont use the light up switch. mine came with an all black switch but i didnt really want it because i was really paranoid when i first got them with the cops and all, so i would like to see where the switch is at to turn it off real quickly, but since the cops dont bother me with them.... i dont bother, i really dont know where the switch is at anyway, its prolly somewhere under my seat. but if you need any more directions tell me. that should be all you need to know though.

As you can see I've got the red squirters. Don't know if there will be a problem with the cops until I get pulled over. Many infractions come about when the cop feels like he's not being paid attention to. So whatever the charge complain to the judge you come out way ahead of the Creeps On Patrol Squad.]:bandit:

i dont think the windshield squirter lights are illegal. i drove by a cop tonight with mine on, he just kept driving. i talked to one of my friends, he said they arent totally bright enough to be illegal, but i still think there supposed to be illegal. maybe the cop i drove by was a young guy. they usually dont have problems with those things. but whatever, who knows. im glad though.

Hey would it be possible to wire the hood lights to both your turn signals and a switch so when you want them on they r on and when you have your turn signals on they blink too but when they r off and your turn signals are on they will not com on. I have a switch for my neon loghts inside under my dash and would like to have them hooked with them.....wonder if it can be done....

Re: Cops!!!!!!

i didnt want to believe that you could get a ticket for having blue neons. but i got a ticket not too long ago for having them. they said that it was only for official/emergency vehicles only. i asked why and he said that other drivers may think you are a cop or ambulance. in my head i was thinking, how many cops on the streets have blue underbody neons and how many honda accord ambulances are driving around as well. well i guess its just another way of the state getting hard earned money they did not earn.
