Didn't expect either of you to see it for one second.News only holds any credibility if it is independantly observerved by a neutral reporter.Now it's getting a lot harder to find unbiased media,but I sure as shit wouldn't trust Al Quaeda to keep me informed,so why should I trust Bush's bullshit machine?

As I told CBASS I heard no one say anti american except those who continuously claim not to be and who claim that others are saying they or anyone like them are.

I have heard people get criticized for not supporting the troops and rightly so, but I don't recall anyone being called Anti-American over it. Of course I haven't heard everything everyone says about it so it's possible it happens.

hmmmm....well that last sentence just contradicts your first paragraph. The point is that portions of the American government is so effective at using propeganda and persuasive tactics that it has manipulated huge portions of its population to being blindly pro-American and 'patriotic' to the exclusion of any effective criticism of the actions of the government.
Of course the government is relying on the compliance of large portions of the population to help it meet its agenda.

You will do your country a service by agreeing less with the government and criticising more.

and as for the anti american title, conduct your own experiment. go stand on the corner of a busy intersection, hold a sign that says something like "war is wrong" or some other pro peace slogan, and count the times you are called anti american.

ill actually provide you with the results of my own experiment. me and my friend stood on the corner, holding similar signs like "who would jesus bomb?" and "no war" and we were told we were:

not supporting our troops: 12 times
we were anti american: 7 times
going to hell: 1 time
(insert positive comment): 5 times

all in thirty minutes.

and the only tools of the propoganda machines are the people who believe it. the media can tell us whatever it wants. no one makes you believe anything.
