Re: Toyota Supra JGTC 2003
Awesome conversion you're doing, but i just think the front bumper is too high compared to the ref pic (maybe it's an effect on the pics).

Now this is looking awsome! Can't wait to see the rest. You, sir, are a braver man than I...when I spend that much money on a resin kit...I usually don't modify it. Stange how I don't feel the same way about the $30 kits and those aren't cheap either. Oh well, looks great so far.

At last, some half decent progress to report, the chassis and cockpit are coming along slowly, nothing too exciting here, just about everything is painted black, so nothing really to show, the axles and wheels are now on. I must admit that I'm not very impressed with the wheels in this kit, the S27 Viper kit that I built had a very similar style of wheel to those on the Supra, but the Viper ones were machined aluminium one piece wheels, the Supra kit has machined alloy outer rims but the centres are white metal and they don't fit particularly well to the outer parts, also the axles fit to the centre pieces of the wheels and therefore the camber and toe in/out tends to be a little all over the place, with a bit of bending of the wheel centres I think they are not too bad now.
The body is now painted in gloss white so the next stage here will be the masking and spraying of the blue colour. ![]() ![]() Steve

Im speachless. The gloss white makes it looks like it was molded that way. Excellent, excellent, excellent job!
