Re: Fun on the highway

YES IT DOES. its one more statistic that people will use when they are trying to make more restictions on car or mods or anything of the sort. what if you go flying by some senator or something who decides no car should be allowed on the road that is capable of going over 80. then what. that effects us all. oh and what if i happen to be driving along and you smash into me. if someone was doing something like that and i saw it and they crashed into me, providing i was still alive i would get out and beat you so bad you would wish you never had a car to drive. i think maybe the only things that would make you realize what your doing effects other people is if two people were racing and crashed into your mom or sister or girlfriend and killed them. but then you would probably be like, oh no thats different. i can control my car. as previously stated, "GRAB A BRAIN".

Re: Fun on the highway

I don't believe in God as everyone percieves him to be..... but I do believe in a higher power.

I just worded it that way to get a point across (I may as well shout at a brick wall)

Fuck it, you're not worth the finger stress, I'm done.

Re: Fun on the highway

2 of my best friends was almost killed in a accident.
they were flying down the road at a 120 in a
98 firebird the driver had been drinking, the
more the other said slow down the faster
he pushed it. finally the passenger grabed the
gearshift and tryed putting it in N and hit reverse.
the car slung around in the road 15 times and
fliped 10 times. the car looks like a bull dozer
ran over it. both of them are in the hospital
in critical condition

Re: Fun on the highway

well, im not gonna take sides on this, im not gonna try and rip dwrock1 a new one, and im not gonna tell everyone else they are old fogies. but ill tell you this. I see no harm in stoplight to stoplight drags. short distance, a thumbs up and a smile, and part ways. no biggie. but i will NEVER race on the highway, unless its route 66 in the middle of nevada with not a soul in sight. racing on crowded streets, dodging semi tucks (who i might add have my depest respect, they are bar none the safest most courtious drivers on the road) by the way, they have this thing called a CB, you probly blew past one truck and he let the others know you were coming, in an attempt to keep you from killing yourselves or someone else. im not gonna quote insurance reasons, or money, or courtisy, or safty, cuz to a driver (which i am one of) these dont matter. next time your on the road driving down the highway, look into that minivan full of a family, make eye contact with that little 6 year old girl, and just ask yourself.. what if i lost it. that alone is enough to keep me below 90 on the highway. just my personal view on it, not trying to get anyone else to follow it, just thought id share.

but sense no one else said it dwrock1, thank you, i do agree that this forum has many good people. you probly among them, the gas pedel gets the best of us all from time to time, it takes a big peson to admit they were wrong, and post an apology. i respect at least that about you.

Re: Fun on the highway

ever heard of the autobaun?
its a big highway in germany that
has NO SPEED LIMIT! i watched
a show on discovery channel
a porche 911 was doing 212 mph.
you will get pulled over for doing under
a certain speed. but id like to go there
someday.
