name that is the best i have seen so far. the flames are great.

i did about 99% of it with ad markers, btw. chartpaks and trias; highlights with some prismacolor pencils and gouache. therefore, technique to achieve all f/x similar to watercolor -leave highlight areas blank and/or transparent, and work around them to darker areas.

composition is origninal, ie, there are no angles existing as photographs of either one of the cars. i interpreted them from references. i used my storyboarding skills to compose the frame.

i must work right now on a job for nissan murano. i will go into more of your questions specifically a little later.

yes. "the last ride", USA network, june 2nd, 8pm. dennis hopper. i storyboarded all major action sequences involving chases. cars are my area of specialty. although i will 'board out anything.

thanks. i did animate years ago. briefly. nothing to write home about, really. i know how to do it on a basic level. i think i will do that, though, in the near to mid-future as a film project. it just makes sense to me -i'm a draftsman. so why not keep doing it? just take it to the next level (i'm telling myself).

i don't use those at all. never have. i probably will in my lifetime, eventually.

tokes, yes i hand-draw them all by myself. freehand. usually only with a ballpoint pen. no pencil layout.
