What can I say... one of the best one-off in this forum! The only thing bugging me about the car is the old fashion rear window... it's a little small for today's standard... Just an opinion...

Willimo,
This hands down the best custom work I've seen here...from inception, build-up, presentation...awesome. Beautiful paint choice. I agree the rear/ rear quarter view is sweet. The exhaust/bumper treatment is just tight. Very fitting. I want more engine bay pics!!
I'm trying hard to figure out why it looks like a caricature from the side view. It looks like it's been squished from the sides inward..maybe an illusion the large wheels and added skirts create?
But hey you have living proof that Honda built a s2000 V6 and you can tell your friends to come ever and check it out, that's priceless!

Re: Complete: Honda S2000 Fastback.

So much (good) litterature yet, I wonder if I should add mine...

About the design: I feel it's not a shape one can love at first sight, the top could look too high, the rear window too small, etc... But there's something reminding Honda's past designs, and at the same time it's completely coherent with the original design of the car. I think one can call that neo-retro. The car needs to take a little time of thinking to appreciate it. It needs time to reveal its inner beauty. It need to be seen in "real", too (I can only imagine). That's a common point with many new designs of the last few years, I noticed. That's a compliment. The original S2K had something to do with both old S600 and british roadsters of the 60's, and this one does justice to both traditions. To my point of vue, that's a masterpiece.

About the build: how could I say anything, as I've completely failed my own project (mostly a matter of time, in fact, indeed!) The build is flawless, cleanly done and painted, in a word: close to perfection. I think nobody will tell you something about that. In terms of quality the result is: !

I hope some of us will tell you they don't like the shape, or find something wrong : it would mean you've done a REAL designer job, something that has pros and cons, just because it has something to "say" (=expresses something, not only utilitary cover).

It was only to give you something to read, I could have said the same by just adding some: !!!!

Looking real good Willimo. The front and rear resemble the Mugen look....which I love.

Re: Complete: Honda S2000 Fastback.

Certainly pleases my senses... Well, at least the ones I used to view it. Anyway, I think the car is beautiful, and a peice of art in itself. The white wheels suit the body color well, but could possibly use some black-wash, and some bolt-detail. Other than that I'm definately impressed by the process you went through, from idea to final product. Kodus to you!
