ive personally only used ngk's. recently there was a car at the shop i goto, and it was running terribly. they pulled the wires off and out came bosch plugs... threw in some ngks and it ran fine.

stick with what you know works. all this "plat4" shit is just gimmick nonsense. and im sure people have graphs that show otherwise, but ive heard more bad than good.

Re: know any good spark plugs?

this is exactly what i did when i put the BOSCH's in my car: I placed the BOSCH's in first and out came my stock NGK-R. When I turned on my engine it began to stall a little. So i took out the distributor cap and cleaned up all the carbon deposits. After that It ran fine. But this is what I noticed from the BOSCH's;
1) It did seem torquey and rev happier
2) but it seemed a little rough, not as smooth as my NGK's

well when i reach about 5,000 miles i'll keep you guys posted on how its running. And dont' worry i'll get 5,000 miles quite fast because i commute a lot.

Re: know any good spark plugs?

Poor Bobiii84....

Question for all of the more experienced car people...Do "racing" or "performance" plugs really make that much of a difference versus OEM or similar plugs?

Re: know any good spark plugs?

it all depends on what condition your car is in and what kind of mods you have on your car. So far from reviews that I've read NGK-R's Denso's BOSCH (a select few) do give a slight difference in FUEL ECONOMY and efficient power.

Re: know any good spark plugs?

Spark plugs are spark plugs. As long as it has reliable spark delivery, it doesn't really matter which spark plug brand you choose. I've discovered that NGK's are the most reliable, so I recommend it to everyone. OEM is usually second best. I also have tried Bosch +4's. They seem to be a gimmick if anything else.
