Hay guys, yeah Im good! Trying to get modavated with mi car again, i have been going through a huge stage on, "I wanna sell mi car" but i think im almost over it, and ready to start wasting money again on the teg. I need new sounds again......... ho hum

GOD DAMN i just failed my WOF for my EK, he said that coilovers have to have cert now!!! so now i'm going to completely take my car off the road and wait until everything is finish and then i have to get cert

fuk off!!! u dont need the cert for coil overs do ya? I thought they stopped that? Man screwy places! I mean shit, our cars are of a certain standard, like man they are fit for the road. Like if they ant, sure fail us, but on sum thing like coilover suspension, i mean really, the car is legal. Shit.

SO how is that EK, still got ur rear bumper boss!!

yeah i'm pretty fucked off that i didn't get a WOF, $30 for nothing!!! i've been going to the same guys for about 3 years now and he always passes me with no problems, even i have mirror tints but he told me that aftermarket adj springs must be cert now!! i was pissed so i rang vehicle testing station and i talk to a guy there and he told me i don't need cert, so now i'm just going to take my car off the road until i'm all finished then get cert for it..........damn it i'm going to miss the car show in march!!!

yip i fixed my rear bumper, it look so funny without it but i'm going to pull my front one off and get a new one i've also pulled all my stereo out and going to fully rebuild my EK inside and out

Oh shit!! When did the coilover law come in? How can they do that when you buy a car with coilovers before it needs certification and then make you get certification afterwards...that's fucking ridiculous!

yeah, nuts man!! Elmo u gotta have ur car ready by march for the show man. Shit I wish i entered my car in the nats, man i was surprised at wat was there, man i never look at mi car and think its a show machine. Man i could have not only put it in there, but it woulda looked better than half the cars!! rah!!

yeah the coilover thing fucked me off but i think if i wented to a different WOF place that doesn't know the rule i would of passed but i would of failed on my tints!! god i'm just going to get cert and fuck them all!!!!

i really really want to enter the show but i don't think i'll be ready, not enought time and need more $$$

i readed the performace car mag the other day and i saw your letter, pretty cool stuff

yeah i guess if u had the cert, u would never have a prob again, just flash it ne time at a wof staion, or at a cop, and u would be sweet.

Where do ya go for the cert? I take it only certain mechanics can give u a cert?

i know there is only one place in chch you can get cert from and i think its about $260 i think i can't remember

anyways about 2 years ago my friend with a Crx, he has coilovers (Worshp the guy you meet when you were in chch) got pulled over by a cop and got pink stickered and he was made to get cert for his coilovers

Usually there are engineers that do the certification..some are dodgy, while others are mean as bastards...Try a sports car club and the'll tell you which are the best.

Thing is I want to get my car certified for everything, but not until it's finished as I can't see the point in getting it done over and over again!

Man that's weird - you guys have no hassles importing all the good cars that we can't get, but you have more problems certifying the mods which we have no hassles with. Weird old world ain't it?

Got my car serviced today

As well as the cam belt they also replaced the P/S, A/C and alternator belt. All fluids and the Oil and Fuel Filters.

They looked at replacing the spark plugs, but theyre titanium ones, that cost $50 each and theyre almost new so they regapped them and put them back in.

The cam belt was pretty stuffed so it was a good idea to change it but he said the rest of the motor was in excellent conditon.

The guy in the shop nextdoor offered me $2500 for my wheels, he would have put them on his 200bhp at the wheels civic.

The front discs and callipers are almost new.

Im putting $320 each michelins on, on monday for $225 each fitted

He told me if I get all the bits he'll be able to do the manual roof conversion for me.

I got my new bonnet stay clip from honda (old one was broken) today, they had to order it in cause the only ones they had wouldnt fit, so when I tried to fit it, it was far to small, so thats got to go back.

I havnt driven it since I got it back cause I was at work so dad picked it up, its been tuned as well and he thinks its going alot better, I had no complaints before so I hopeso
