Re: Good sleeper

I had no time to read these all but u guyz r too cheap! What I call a sleeper is car with over 500 hp which doesn't get pulled over at nights! that magnum looks too ugly and the cadillac is too classy to be a race car so I think they are both great sleepers. For now my sleeper is a Pontiac grand prix but I might buy a magnum nxt yr

Re: Good sleeper

Anyone thinks that a ford RS200 is a good sleeper? not really in the same class with any of these cars but a great car.

The SHO is a 3.4L V8 with 235BHP/230torque(Yamaha?), as far as I know.

Re: Good sleeper

I honestly do not have much info about the 2005 Magnum. I am sort of familiar with the CTS-V, but I think I would rather prefer Ford Mustang SVT Cobra

only from 99+. the prior generation had a 3.2 yamaha v6. they're the best SHO's. the generation that include the 89 SHO is the lightest/fastest. i'd still take a maxima instead.

Anyway, I would say the Cadillac, the other two wouldn't be very good at being "sleepers."
i think i saw that. wasn't it where they swapped in a jdm integra type r engine (b20) and all sorts of shit and it still ran like a 14.5.

i picked the magnum cuz i like hemi's. i'd also go with the chrysler 300M.

Yah, that would be it, it really sucked despite all the hard work they put into it, but some of that could be attributed to the driver. She was some dumb airhead little ghetto poser girl ("yo dawg, check out my phat ride!") and she didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. She seemed like one of those idiots with a Civic with nothing but stickers and a big exhaust tip that tries to race V8 Mustangs and Camaros.

She lost to an Eagle Talon that also had $10k of work into it, he BARELY beat her and snapped an axle doing it. Idiots...

About the SHO, I was thinking about the older ones with the V6, didn't know they kept making them...

Re: Good sleeper

WTF?
a $10000 worth of mod civic slow? what did they put in it? stickers? man, give me half of that, $5000 and ill smoke your mustang with my 91 Sentra!

trust me, no civic can be a sleeper! theres tons of them! sleeper is something you have NO idea it can go fast! if a ugly CRX pulls up next to me, i know its either very slow(stock) or very fast(b18)

My car is a perfect sleeper. Hell, almost all of the Turbo Dodges and Chryslers were. They are cars you would never expect to be fast but they are. Also, you can make most any car into a sleeper, but there are quite a few exeptions.

However, $10,000 would have a Civic walking a stock Mustang easily. Who ever modified it does't even have the brains God gave a pissant.

Oh what an achievement! Especially since my ENTIRE car including all the mods cost me $3800!

Maybe it'll be more fair if I also got $5000 to put into my engine.

What year is your Mustang and what are your mods?

Who cares if you only paid $3,800 plus mods. I am sure I can be beating you for less. Hell, I am about to pay $600 for a car that with less than $1,200 in mods can be running 12s.

So, put that in your pipe and smoke it.
