Re: 5th Generation (94-97) Questions.....

Yeah, I'm looking on eBay and I can get the Apexi WS full-coilovers for $650 shipped or the H&R Sport / Tokico Illumina setup for around $535 shipped.

I'm thinking that for the extra $115 the convience of the Apexi's would be worth it. Plus we have moderate to bad winters, so it'd be nice to have the ability to raise them. Plus I've heard that the WS ride pretty smooth.

I just ordered an AEM ram air today so looking forward to that this weekend. Couldn't see spending 2x as much for the CAI.

drifter - don't forget the camber kit or you're gonna run through tires like nobody's business

Not necessarily, if the drop is less than 2" then he shouldn't need a camber kit.

Re: 5th Generation (94-97) Questions.....

as soon as you take your car out of its factory camber setting you're going to be wearing unevenly. the lower you drop it the more pronounced the uneven wear on your tires will be, but if you have low profile wheels it's really not worth it. you'll see uneven wear w/ a two inch drop
