Re: Quarter mile time for 98 camry?
The camry is to heavy of a car to drag. Most people buy camry's for their superior long life and ride. If you're concerned with speed Civic's, GTI's, or Camaro's are what to get. I own a 69 Chevelle w/ 500HP and never even dreamed of taking my 92 Camry 4cy onto the track. But you have me wondering what it would get. Front wheel drive. lol I'm betting about 25second.

Re: Quarter mile time for 98 camry?
Just about anything you can think of...almost. You can change almost everything from the seats to even the ECM brackets...plus, you can remove quite a bit of stuff too...like if you decide that you don't use something, just rip it out...(well not literally "rip") let's say take it out. Also, another thing that weighs you down quite a bit, the amount of fuel you have in your tank. Most Camrys have about a 17 gal tank, and fuel weighs a pretty good few pounds per gallon. I usually ride around with about a half tank or quarter tank, either or...the lighter the better.

Re: Quarter mile time for 98 camry?
The spare tire, passenger seat, rear seats, all kinds of stuff. If you willing to sacrifice your goodies for speed, then the possibilities are almost limitless..that is until you run out of shit to take off your car...lol

Re: Quarter mile time for 98 camry?
best thing to take out is the A/C instant 20-35 HP i've heard. But yea everything can be removed. take a look at all the race cars like nascars and junk. All the have a a odometer, clutch and driver's seat nothing further then that i think.
