Re: Re: Weird Problem

[Hi-I have a 94 Ram 250 with the same stalling problem. Sometimes it would take over a dozen tries to back out of a parking place. We had 2 fuel pumps go out on us-now I have learned. The fuel pump is designed to be submerged in gas. When under a quarter of a tank, it cannot stay that way and gets too hot, which causes these problems and eventually burns the fuel pump out. This is according to the parts guy I just spoke with. Thanks, malaurie

Re: Weird Problem

Yep, there are numerous posts here about the 94-96 Rams' fuel pumps overheating. Seems a replacement fixes the problem.
