i don't really know too much about chevelles.. so whats in it a 350? how much power you putting down? i love chevelles.. i remember when i was younger there was this guy at a light, i believe it was a tubbed out 454 SS and i asked him to smoke the tires lol he was like its too easy, but when the light turned green he smoked them.. it was sweet..

Yeah it has a 350 in it, closer to 355, .030 over. Stock was a somkey 307 (dog) and a 2 speed powerglide. In other words, it was a granny car. Compression is stock, not exactly sure what it is, probably around 8.5. I put a steel crank in it, 3 inch highrise GM intake, 750 holly, 2.02" heads, some tough springs and rockers and a crane cam, 300 duration .470 lift. Never had the HP tested, and traction is always a problem.

Havent been to the track, i think it opened two weekends ago. Its 1/8 mile track, so i need lower gears before i go. I live in iowa, there is a race track called Mid America Motorplex, or something like that, about 7 miles from my house i go to.
