Or another thing you can do is pay for everything, so that way you can use and abuse the internet all you want....Unfortunantly for me I pay for anything and everything so it's a god and bad thing. Good thing being the freedom, bad thing being the expenses

I'll have to start doing that, take my own computer home and pay for my own internet, then my mom won't have to anymore. The freedom will be a good thing

Re: Problem with a parent

Why don't you just bring a 35 year old, unemployed dope addict home and tell her it's your new boyfriend. Then she'll forget all about your computer...

how old are you?

My fiance is 2 1/2 years younger than me,. I started dating her when she was 16, and that did NOT fly well with her parents...

Re: Problem with a parent

I don't know how old you are. When I was 16 my mom started enforcing stupid rules and curfews on me and it got a lot worse before I was 18. I think that some parents just get worried about you leaving and they do anything they can to control you and keep you close. I moved out just before my senior year in high school and my mom hated it. I was 18 and it was hard work living on my own but it was worth it. I am 21 now with a wife and 2 kids and she still calls me almost every day and asks what I am doing and where I am going like I am still at home. I love her, but thank God for caller ID! Some parents just have trouble letting go. Sorry for such a long post.

I am at the ripe young age of 16....and having abundent amount of FOLLOWING rules is enough to drive my mind insane. Can't stand the damn parents (when it comes to their decision on who i go out with)
