Re: going to the dragway may 1st ?'s
.........................................RedNeck38 3 .I was always told that you couldn't go back to Regular oil after making the switch because of the chemical differences between the two lubricants.
It's like water and oil... they just don't mix and wont properly lubricate. I was told this by several knowledgable people, one of which is a recent UTI grad.............................................. .......... this is what i was told as well..... |

Re: going to the dragway may 1st ?'s
ok now i get that you people have been told that, told that by some person not bound by any laws or anything, and we all know from being on AF that people talk without knowing what they are talking about, and everyone is intitled to there own opinon, but come on. are you really going to disagree with a major maker of motor oil who has been around for probably longer than most of us have been alive, im sure not everyone but i dont totaly know when vavoline was started. they even just gave it a simple answer because it was not worth explaning. find me a sight, a reputable one, not just some sight that some random person did, that says No you can not switch back and maybe just mayby i will understand why you believe the person who told you that.
