I highly agree unless you plan on doing a motor swap with a larger VTEC motor later on. Engaging the VTEC earlier on a SOHC yields minor and almost unnoticeable gains. The SAFC can be used to monitor your O2 sensor output signal and provide you a reading that can be translated to the same output of a AFR gauge.

that's exactly true Need more info on what the exact motor is inside of the car. Get us the engine code
