Re: Another Porsche 917K but coming as a "Hippie"

That is cool Godfather, build it as you see fit. After all there are many 917Ks painted as replicas of the original "Hippy" cars, and they would all be different! I didn't mean to impose my ideas of how the model should be built upon you.

Naa, you didnŽt do that, actually, you gave me some good hints on the rearview mirror and the open space behind it. Looks much more realistic and somehow "oldschool" spacey. I always appreciate comments and some constructive criticism. I just need some more color to arrive and then IŽm off finishing that beast.

Wow! Fantastic decal work. Looks great, not a suject and especially not a scheme you see much. Models are a becoming a great way to remember racing history, and yours exemplifies it! Great work, man.

Groovy baby!
How well did the decals fit, especially around the nose intakes?

Not very well, YouŽll need a lot of patience around the nose intakes and cutting and rubbing! But eventually, youŽll have a pleasant result. The rest of the decals is very fine Studio27 - quality and works out great. You will only have problems, when you want to build the kit in a way that you can take the rear hood of. cutting all the hippie - "Flows" is rather hard and demanding.
