D15B VTEC distributor and the P28 distributor are exactly the same.

My old DX distributor is sitting in a bag on a shelf in my shop.

Re: New Pics of me car!

Alright, so I wouldn't need to buy a distributor from a 92-95 Civic? If this is the case, the only thing I have to worry about is the ECU wiring and resistor wiring?

Nope, you can use the one that comes with the D15B.

If you get an OBD0-OBD1 wiring harness, there really isn't much wiring to worry about at all...

Since you'll be using the D15B injectors, you wont be needing a resistor box because the D15B uses OBD1 injectors. You just take all the injector power wires and connect them together.

Thanks man... I still can't quite get the hood to fit correctly... but I've spent all of 20 minutes working on it I'm sure I'll get it worked out Tomorrow when I Start putting everything else back together.

Something's working against me to get the car running though.. the place I bought my OBD0-OBD1 harness from said they wont have one ready until Thursday, when I was hoping to be started up and ready to go Tomorrow... so I upgraded my shipping to OverNight so I'd be able to start the car up by this weekend.

More updates to come

Re: New Pics of me car!

Can you explain the 4 wire O2 sensor? Somebody said I had to buy a 4 wire O2 sensor from a 92 Civic. Is this true? The reason why I am asking is I know this guy who does custom ECU programming and he is asking about how many wires the O2 sensor will have.

What about it do you need to know? If you use the P28 ECU and run OBD1 you'll need a 4wire o2 sensor.... if you stay OBD0 and use the PM6 ECU, you'll just need a 1 wire o2 sensor.

If you're converting to OBD1, whoever you buy your conversion harness from should include instructions on hooking up the O2 sensors.

Re: New Pics of me car!

Okay so in conclusion, I do need to buy a 4 wire o2 sensor. The person doing my ECU is asking about how many wires will my o2 sensor have. Like I said earlier in the thread, I hate wiring! Anywho, thank ya very much~

Actually... black primer hood.... and why does it look exactly like yours? because honda made thousands and thousands of tahitian green civic hatchbacks, and you and I both have one of many :P
And hey... you may not be the first, or the last... but at least you know you have a damn good looking car

Haha, I guess I should update yall a little bit on my progress or lack there of....
I gave up... I tried everything, including replacing the entire wiring harness. No luck.

So Friday afternoon... I loaded her up onto a trailer and dragged her 70 miles to a friend of mine who's brother owns a shop and is a professional mechanic and loves little projects to keep himself occupied in his spare time (has a chevy nova w/ big block V8 twin turbo'd and juiced on racing slicks 'not street legal' makes so much horse power, it pegs dynos... and a 2002 mustang base model with 2004 cobra engine he swapped in)
In any case, my friend and his brother are going to take my car back apart and put it together again and tinker with it and play with it until they either get it running, or determine that'll cost me more than what it's worth to get it running. And they're doing this for me for FREE.

so yeah... I probably wont know anything for a month or two from here on.... which is ok... I need to break in my new Del Sol anyways.
