dude, you got a lot of mis-info in your post.

1.its walbro

2. its beta

3. there is no delta 04 I4 cvvt. the delta refers to the v6 in the tibs and the santa fes. its still the same beta, just with cvvt.

4. there is no way in hell that you could get the stock I4 (especially on the new heavy ass tibs) into the 10s with 3000. It would prolly take upwards of 6000 if you wanted it to be somewhat streetable. NOT going to happen.

5. 450cc injectors would be fine up to around 300hp.

6. kevlar timing belt? no.

7. aem doesnt make a harness for us, which would make things very difficult.

8. our mafs are shit. dont put it after the turbo.

Re: turbo

1. sorry about spelling. (dick)

2. sorry about spelling. (dick)

3. 2004 2.0 elantra 4cy (and) tibs 2.4 4cy are deltas

4. wasnt really shooting for 3gs, because everything out their right now sucks dick for tiburons, so its important that you get good quality parts. 6gs is actually even probably on the low side.

5. 450cc injectors would be fine if you wanted to go 13-14sec with 14b in the 1/4. if you wanted 11-12sec you'll need larger flow injectors especialy with a evo16g

6 kevlar is a good idea. optional, but good idea

7. who said anything about a harness?

8. thats why i was talking about a maft. and if you want to blow to the atmishpere, you have to have it after the turo

dude, there is no 2.4 for the tiburon, only 2.0 I4 and 2.7 v6.

and all the 2.0 engines are BETAs. the 2.7 is the DELTA. the same engine is shared between the elantras and tiburons.

you said "if you had 3 grad to blow on that, you could possably mod the stock 138hp 14 into the 10's".

you said aem ecu. they dont make a harness for tiburons, and thats why i said it.

Re: turbo

yeah, actually your right, beta engien not delta. sorry about that. ditto on the 2.4 4cy. and that 3 grand was just to get the the internals ready for higher boost. theeeen you can go ahead and spend 6-10 grand on making it a powerhouse.

well, maybe they make a harness for the new ones, but not the rds. there is a group trying to get them to R&D on them.
