I'm halfway between Seymour Indiana and North Vernon Indiana-
Seymour is the Hometown of John Mellencamp, and Seymour is also one of Two hometowns of Tony Stewart (the other Being Rushville, about half an hour away)

Actually, My dad ran around with (and on one occasion was arrested with) a few members of Mellencamps band...hehehe.

YEAH!!! I couldn't have said it better myself :ylsuper

But, in all fairness, as I don't live in NYC anymore, I guess I really have to be represented in truth by my new city:

Hartford - the insurance capitol of the country
( whoop-dee-friggin-doo - I'm claiming "lots and lots of drugs in a small urban area" as Hartford's secondary claim to fame )

i am currently living in lakeland with videonasty, but i originally came from the Binghamton, NY area.

Binghamton is primarily famous for few things:

IBM: IBM was founded in nearby Endicott, NY.

The Twilight Zone: the creator, and narrator of the twilight zone, rod serling, is originally from binghamton.

about an hour away is Elmira NY, which is where Mark Twain lived for part of his life.

and about an hour away is the watkins glen international race track.

Stirling Moss once got a speeding ticket in Broome County (the county that binghamton resides in)
