Finished painting almost all of the pieces except for the interior. I found it quite easy to do. I just learned that it is easier if you thin down your enamel a little bit before you paint. Haven't decided on an interor color scheme yet. Thinking about something with a little red in it, but I don't know. What do you guys think? I will probably use the rims that are not plated. I will paint them steel. I can't put another coat of paint on the exterior until the weekend due to rain. What are the Euro tailights suppost to look like when they are painted?

At my local Hobby Lobby I found a paint called Leather. It is a Model Master Acrylic. I think I might try this stuff out on the interior of my Ferrari 512 TR. Has anybody had any past experiences with this stuff?

Well time to get back to the kit. Happy Modeling.

Do you have any pics of the interior?

I will probably start on the Ferrari 512 TR after I finish this ITR. The only problem with it is that I am missing a taillight lens.

Put another coat on the exterior. It seemed to go on well. Still have to work on the interior. Anybody have any pics of the Euro taillights?

Finished the engine. It went together well. Just had to remove a few mold lines on the pieces. So far so good. Tomorrow I will work on gluing the suspension in and putting another coat on the body.

By the way, I noticed a small spot of paint on the roof of the car. Should I sand it down lightly before I put another coat on?

Points up to see if anybody knows the answers to the previous questions. And if anybody knows the step-by-step on how to lower the car.

Yes, very gently.

Scale Auto had a bit about lowering it... I'll see if I can dig it up...

Hey JE123, the model's looking great. The silver really does look nice. Which wheels are you going to go with? The Scale Auto is the October 2001 issue. Here's the easiest way:

If this still isn't lowered enough, let me know. There is a more in-depth and far more complicated way to lower it even more by modifying the suspension. Hey that sig looks familiar, where have I seen it before... hmm. j/k

I will try that technique. I should work. I just want to lower it a little bit.

Yeah, I kinda copied your sig, and I guess you can say that I kinda sorta copied your avatar. But hey FINAL FANTASY ROCKS!!!!!!

Just finished spraying the engine bay the same color as the exterior. Now I just have to detail all the little wires. Haven't spent too much time working on it lately.

Here it is, the engine bay. I just have to paint a few more things inside it.
