Re: Another Kill

Do you know why the speed limit is 55? Because the governent was trying to conserve fuel in the 70's because of the energy crisis. They made so much money on speeding tickets that they decided to keep the law to make money. I couldn't give a damn about you or anyone else's life anyway. The way I see it, I am just helping out natural selection. If you can't drive stay off the road. Anyway, I don't race on busy city roads. Mainly on the highway or backroads. Someone that enjoys racing is a ricer?

"it is a big 4 way intersection" That sure does sound like a buzy city to me. I street race too, the track is hardly ever open and its over a hour away. But all i ask is please dont get stupid and cause a accident, For every accident and death that just gives them anthor reasion to rasie ticket prices and insurance costs.

and no a ricer is some one who dont know jack about cars, like those girls who dont even know how to change their oil but have add a cai to make their car hecka fast.

i gotta agree with nisco here. he raced on a obviously busy street. he said the guy he was racing went into oncoming traffic. anytime someone races on a street with other cars anywhere in potential danger, i will call him a stupid ricer bitch. ricers are the ones who do stupid shit trying to imitate the F&F.

if you street race, do so on a little backroad and make sure NOONE else is around. that way, you can only kill yourself or the idiot that you are racing.

Re: Another Kill

why is everyone so fucking scared of death. It is inevitable, might as well have fun while you're are here. Nisco you are just a whining bitch. You whine about anything you can think of to whine about. Yeah the guy in the Talon was definetly a stupid prick. That doesn't make everyone that happens to race on the street, now and then, a prick. Karma is a bunch of bullshit.

that is the most ignorent comment ive ever read. yes death is inevitable, but would you like to die tomorrow? "might as well have fun while youre here", what if that fun cuts your stay here short?

what if you, your family, and your girlfriend stopped at a gas station. you go inside to get something and everyone else stays outside. while you are walking back out, you see some kid that thought it would be fun and put a little edge in his life by street racing, lose control, jump the curb to the GS, and crash into the van containing everyone you love at 80 mph. ive read multiple street racing stories that end just as terrible as this. would you still feel the same way about street racing?

you talk all big like you arent scared of death, but how many times have you been involoved in something that could have easily killed you?

youre not serious right?
i whine?... about what?.. you call this whining? im saying that you and the other stupid people out there who put peoples lives at risk on the road by being reckless and being completely ignorant...
youre also a hypocrite... im not afraid of dieing.. the thing i si dont want to be killed by some lil fucker street racing... thats not what i call going out while having some fun...
now what are you gonna do...? call me a fag again? how old are you...12 ... 13.. older than 16?
cause if you are you shocked the shit outa me..
if you wanna race... go take a racing course... theres alot more involved than jus hittin the gas... next time you wanna street race... think abotu someone you love playing russian roulette... yeah sure you can get by ohh so many times without causing an incident... but its always that one time that ruins everything

Wow, what a pissing contest! I wish this was in real time and on video! I'm kind of seeing both your points here. I enjoy a good street race, but I know when i've beaten or been beaten, or if traffic and road conditions get worse to back off. BUT, you still have to respect the other people on the road. There's no point in a loser-fly-by, and there's no point in continuing to accelerate if you've won, or lost. Let's call that, "road rage". Remember, driving is a privelage, not a right.

Can't we all just get along?

Oh well, if it really bothers people, they should have a mod move the thread there. Or just NOT read it at all.

Re: Another Kill

I am done with this thread, I was actually done with it a while ago but I just can't resist the urge to reply. You are not going to change my mind about street racing, although you and I obviously have a totally different idea of what street racing is. I always slow down when there is traffic in the way, rather than keep racing and try to get around it. However, if there is a clear open road and someone wants to see if they can take me then I am all for it. I can safely drive on the highway at speeds in excess of 100mph. Hell, Europeans have been doing it for years and have less accidents then we have here. How many times have I been in an accident that could have easily killed me? Twice, once in a car and once on a motorcycle. The car was because someone drunk t-boned me at an intersection (now drinking and driving I do not condone) The bike accident was a mixture of my inexperience and a mechanical malfunction of the bike. Anyway, that doesn't make me afraid to get in a car or ride a bike anymore. I wasn't racing or anything either time, but accidents happen whether you are racing or not. Yes I would feel bad if someone got in a careless accident and killed my family or if I was careless and did the same to another family. However, that doesn't mean to say that all street racing is careless. Like I said, you and I have different ideas of what street racing is. You are picturing kids trying to immitate fast and furious moves on city streets. This is not what I do, or condone. I am not trying to make you see things my way either. If you still say that I shouldn't street race under any circumstances what-so-ever then you can go on thinking that. I don't give 2 shits or a fuck what you think. There are alot more dangerous things out there that you have no control over. I am not afraid to die, when my time comes it will come, there is not stopping it. Of course I would rather die when I am 100 then tommorow, don't be such a twit. That doesn't mean I should walk on egg shells my whole life and never take any risks at all.
Also, ColeIketani, if you don't like what we are talking about then don't read the thread. This relates to Tiburons and people racing them. I don't like censorship or people telling me what I can say and where.

I am 22, btw, and have a wife and a son. In case you were wondering, although I am sure you don't care. So, this is my last post on this crap. You are still a whining bitch Nisco and I am not talking about just this thread. You think you know everything and you never really give any good points in your arguments. You just keeping saying the same shit over and over again, i.e. whining and bitching.

Yeah i totally agree about the speed limit thing, we all have to suffer because your only as fast as the slowest member in your team.

It is a whole lot safer, to be going 10 over in your sports car then it is for some on in their big truck to be doing the speed limit Or a semi truck doing 10 under. Because you can stop faster, your more manuverable, and hell even if you do hit some thing you have a whole lot less mass so you wont do as much damage.
