that sucks. my 240 was $950 and i had none of those problems. the only problems i had are the trunk not opening and some wierd electrical thinghy where the speedo, tach, and radio would not work until i revved the engin a bit.

jeez man...that's awful. an engine rebuild is def. gonna be a lot more than what you paid for your car.
i guess you already knew about the problem tho and still bought it; i doubt you'll be able to get anythin back if that's the case. g'luck with all that.
