all of the VH45DE up to 1995 run 300hp nissan has a habit of underrating some of there engiens. plus thay stoped puting variable valve timing and sodium filled valves in the 1995 model. the 90 model is to old too many problems with old age. the 94 model has all the same stuff and it is the latest model befor the pollution control restrictions Which brought the power down to 278hp.
