Re: $35,000 Sports/Luxury Sedan Comparo
I'll take a 3 series and US$35,000 will get you a 330i in the States wonnit? either way it has the near-50:50 wieght distribution, the luxury, the silky engines and transmission. It's getting on, but it's still the best.
The TL is second, huge advancement, but not a lot of driver involvement, which is odd for a Honda.................. Then the G35, good I hear, but I have yet to drive one. Engine is fantastic though The Lexus is next after that- it's a 3 series clone, but it's also ageing, but will be flawlessly reliable and you'll be well looked after. No manual option either, apparently. Next is the A4, 3.0 Quattro, a skiers choice, but not as sporty as the above ('cept the TL) and kinda boring in a way....... Then it's the Mercedes Benz C240- allright car, but electrical woes are a turn off, in spite of D-C promising to fix them. Then is the 9-3- The wrong wheels are being driven and it's still a flerpin Vectra.........Great engines though. Second to last- CTS- it's an allright car, that needs better (not flerpin Vectra) engines and a little more firmness and it's still a bloody Vectra in some ways. And last is the X Type- which is just a case of blah!

yea, the 330i starts at about $35,000 in the US, but with almost no options. The premium and sports packages add a bunch more to the price. So if you want preformance i guess the 330i would be a better car in this class, but for the luxury you really need the packages.
