Re: Ive done so many modifications to my car.....
the dohc 3.4 was a nightmare for tecs to work on , people werent up to par with maintenance. It had lots of jam but is not as reliable as the new 12valve 3400 , the new 3400 is capable of some good hp and can be driven hard all day long. I drove mine 1500 kms in a day and a half and i drove hard the whole time. I got over 130,000 miles on this engine and alls it knows is go go go! Plus it runs better than the day i bought it. All i do for maintenance is clean (top to bottom) the engine and tranny , oil changes every 2000 miles , engine still doesnt burn oil , Still has original tranny fluid , never been serviced other than to check fluid levels(no tranny dipstick) , its a good car as far as im concerned , easy as hell to maintain.

Re: Ive done so many modifications to my car.....
it wasnt that hard to change the plugs on the dohc either , you just loosen a couple of engine mount bolts when the car is lifted in the front and lower it onto a block of wood so it tilts forward and whallah the plugs are in view.
