Re: Greddy vs. Spearco Intercoolers
Man, thanx a lot for the info! You guys just saved me probobly $400. I knew all Greddy stuff was pricey ($100 for a catch can, lol) but I just didn't think of that when I was deciding on an intercooler. I was gonna get the Greddy big front mount but now I'll be lookin into a bar and plate. So which one's the best for the $?

Re: Greddy vs. Spearco Intercoolers
Ok, I've looked at intercoolers more now, but the Greddy is actually pretty cheap ($700- $800), except for that whole tube and fin thing. So if I got a core from say Victory Performance for $550 how much would it cost if I was to get custom piping and mounting at a muffler shop or something? I'm trying to spend about $600 or so in all for a good 24x10x3.5. Any ideas?
Any1 heard know anything about Starion ICs? Are they good? |

Re: Greddy vs. Spearco Intercoolers
You can do the piping with some mandrel bends and some silicone couplers. Many many people have done this, just search on toners and talk. The Kinetic kit I run through SBR is only 850 or so with all piping, and its a 24x12x3.5. Nice piping too. I helped design the piping, so if they updated it all it should fit nice too. You can go either way, its all about how much you want to spend and how much work you are willing to do.
