That save-gas website reminds me of a alleged scam that was going on in Texas about a year ago. The state attorney general prosecuted an organization that was selling a gas additive tablet that would boost gas mileage. The talk was that it smelled like mothballs (naphtha). I don't know what eventually happened, but all I can suggest is, "buyer beware." But, who knows? Maybe this website's goodies really work.

I know what you mean about the Texas Company that was selling the moth ball as gasoline pills. I found that information the same day that I heard about the MGP Caps. It is not the same company. Fuel Freedom International is based in Florida and the product has been around for 17 years in a liquid form for diesel truck. They has just now made in available in pill form for the average driver and that is the opportunity.

I just bought a '05 1500 with the 4.7. Quad cab and 4wd. It tacks 1500-1600 at 65-70 depending on the grade of the road. Completely stock. The avg mpg meter shows 16-17 avgerage on my short trips (35-55 miles) and 11-12 around town. I checked on paper as far as my short trips and came out with 16mpg so the meter appears correct. I can hit the reset button out on the road 65-70 mph and it shows 21-24 mpg. The low numbers you get around town of couse pulls that avg down but it appears that out on the open road, it gets pretty good actual mileage. Anyone had similar thoughts/experiences?
