Got the 4 air ducts done and I'll put CF decal on them.
The steering "rod" from the kit cutted and remade so I can fit it between the engine and the ducts. It's kinda hard to see in the pic because they r all black.



Some fuel line and fitting. Still need more work on the left one.


I'm currently building the Calsonic one too.

Wow, that VQ engine looks really nice so far! What did you use to build it? I'm planning on building one for my 350Z model, and I was just gonna cut engine the mold off a diecast 350Z model, and work from there.

it looks really good! i just have a question this is a skyline with a 300zx engine, was this an actual car designed and built for touring? if so do you have original pics of the actual car? im very interested in this. keep up the great work!

I think you mean the 350Z engine. Yes, the 2003 R34 race car uses the "same" VQ30DE with twin turbo on it. In this year JGTC, the 350Z race car is using the VQ30DETT engine too.

I'll post some real car pictures.

This is the 2004 engine on the 350Z. It's almost the same as the R34 one.

Is that an oil cooler in the vent in the pic at 7 o'clock? That is trick! Glad you're doin' this model 'cause I doubt anyone could do it better.
