Best1Hobby.com warning

I recently ordered a couple of Revell kits and received them in about 10 days (to Australia) which is pretty good. No problems at all. I usually use HLJ for most kits (Tamiya, Fujimi, etc.) however for other kits (such as Revell/Monogram) I would recommend Best1Hobby. Hope you get your stuff sorted out.

Also when did Tamiya.com start selling kits?

Thats interesting because I've sent emails to them and I've got back prompt responses. I've also ordered from them and have gotten my order in at least a couple of weeks. So I haven't had any problems with them.

I just dealt with them (for the first time) a couple weeks ago. Ordered two models & received them in about two weeks with no problems.

Granted, as I said, this is my first experience ordering from them. Hopefully you get your situation with them all sorted out.

i've actually been to their store in alhambra, CA. Pretty small for a hobby store but they say they have a warehouse as well. Selection was so so.

The "warehouse" in Walnut is odd... they have a tiny showroom, but I guess a large stockroom behind that. I think that's from where they ship stuff out. It seems best to call ahead and ask if they have what you want. They're weird for browsing.

I placed my 1st order w/them today, and I've received notice that it has already been shipped and I have a tracking number. We'll see how long it takes!

I've ordered from best1hobby.com, although it took a little longer for my stuff to arive (compared to tinyimports.com) i wouldnt hesitate to do buisness with them again

I don't know what normal processing/shipping time is from Best1Hobbies.com; after reading this post I placed my first order w/them on Thursday just before noon-they had 19" wheels in stock that I wanted, and Mr. Color Thinner in stock that I needed (for thinning House of Kolor/Black Gold paint). The package was on my doorstep today. 48 hours turnaround, from the west coast to the east coast. I say that's pretty freaking good!
