All my cars have older factory aluminum wheels. They can be reasonably nice and no one wants the. But its a shame what people will do. At least they don't steal the whole car, like they did to me.

Jay: We can't do electrified shit, there's a damn man-trap law in NZ

Mike, if you know who it is who's stealing the stereos, call the cops.

Andy, best of luck to you, do what you can to protect the wheels.

Death to thieving bastards!

We can electrify shit, you just can't tell the cops.

Spec, tell the Guard to get off his arse and do some fucking work.

What company?

Also, security cameras suck, with the odd notable exception.

Re: Really worried about my wheels now!

Reminds me of a friends comment when his rather tasty Pug 106 GTi was done over.

'I'm glad I didn't catch em, I'd have spent a lot longer in side that they would have.'

Thieving gets, messing with another mans woman is bad but another mans car is a lynching offence.

: : : : : : : : : : : :

I'm deeply deeply angered now, gonna have to have a cup of Tea to calm meself down.

We can't in the US either The reason is that god forbid you crash and the firemen are trying to jaws-of-life you out of the car...well, that wouldn't be a good time to have your electrifying thing go off, now would it?

I did notice him watching the surveillance cameras yesterday so they must be up and running again. As the guy that had his wheels stolen commented, when you pay close to $400 for a carpark each month you expect a good amount of security.

And one more tip, good people...locking nuts are worthless if you leave the keys or adaptors in the glovebox. You wouldn't leave a spare ignition key in there,so why help the thieves?

True that. We hide ours so only we know where they are.

Well, like everyone said, get 4 wheen lock nuts on each rim, they can be easily taken off by a stripped lug nut tool (its like a regular socket with blades on the inside that cut into the wheel nut and force it off) so really, no matter what you do, you will always be at risk of having your wheels stolen no matter how many nut locks you have.

my best suggestion is to keep your interior clean of anything that might look worth stealing Ie, change in your ash tray, CD's phones etc, just keep as much junk out of your car, and keep your amps, subs, and cd player out of view, take the face of your cd player whenever your not in your vehicle, or do whay my dad does and removes the aftermarket face, but he made a "new face" by cutting the front off an old tape deck and he places that over the aftermarket stereo, who the hell even bothers looking if theres a tape deck? and if at all possible park in the vecinity of one of the security camera's (ie: on the opposite side of the wall they are mounted on)

You do, and you should.

Make a compliant to the owners then that you beleive the guard isn't doing enough. If the guard is from a company, and not an employee, the guard company will jump through hoops to please the owner.

Security is that cutthroat these days, they can't afford not to.
