I don't get it....of course my signiture is photoshopped. We didn't even try too hard because all it is supposed to be is a quick pic to be used as a sig. The car doesn't even look like that anymore.

I have driven many R32 GTR, two R33 GTR and the R34 25GTt. I own an R32 GTS4, which is basically a 2 litre Godzilla. It is kitted out, features after market computer, big bore, GFB BOV and other stuff. I have to say that all GTR tend to drive like a train on tracks. They have a point and shoot quality about them. I have only ever had one hairy incident in a R32 where no car could've handled. The car basically did a 720 degree spin and ended up facing the same way I started. There was no damage at all, and the car (after it stalled, but I think if it was'nt for me freaking out it could've kept on going) started up an drove off straight away. I now have a lot of faith in the GTR as a whole. The R33 was a bit heavy, a completely different machine. The R34 25GTt, although not GTR is wicked mate! Floor it and it burns out, and has tonnes more features than the standard production models of the R33 and R32 series.
I personally prefer the R32 as a classic supercar. I would keep one in the garage as a bread and butter daily driver if you know what I mean. But having driven each series, I would have to reserve judgement, and wait for the next generation Skyline, if it becomes a reality! The GPS, traction control, lighter weight and more refined design of the R34 makes me think that I should save my pennies and get an R35. WYKKED - If that is you pictured in front of your Z, then I would be quite happy to have you pass me. In fact, if that is you, you could do pretty much anything you like (you go girl!)The truth of the matter is that you are'nt really comparing apples with apples. The Z is 3 litres, and rear wheel drive only. The GTR has a smaller engine. So sweet heart, if you are comparing your 3 litre car with a 2.6 litre car, then I guess that is good for Skylines. The unfortunate revelation is that most Z's look pale in comparison to the GTR. Sad really since the Z's are really well setup. I considered buying one, but they are way way too heavy, and from what I have seen, the GTR's eat the Z's. (generally) The Skylines are'nt the fastest car, but preference is a personal choice. All of these cars have great attributes and are a testimony of he great tuning ability of Nissan. |

The Z is a sports car, and was designed as such. The Skyline is a sports sedan and likewise was designed as such. A V-Spec R34 is at the end of a long model range that starts with a 4 door, 2 wheel drive non turbo version. My car may be heavier then the Skyline but with the chip, jets, pulley and exhaust modifications on it most of them do wind up in the rear view mirrors.
Oh, and that is Asian model Francine Dee leaning on the front of my car. ---------- ![]() |

Although I own a R33, I think the 34 is the best among all the Skyline series. The look is simply awesome and it fits the image of a no nonsense performance car. Performance wise, there is not much difference between the 3 models given the almost endless possibilities of mods the car could undergo. The prototype R35 as pictured, in my opinion, does not have that fierce image. It has reduced the Godzilla to a pussycat! I remember that was how Toyota had spoilt the MR2 with its 3rd generation MR2.
By the way, Wykked, I am interested to know the mods on your Z. I used to love the car. But it is proned to over and under steer. |

I indeed like the 400R, but the R34 is my favourite. Somthing to do with the dash mounted screen and whoopass performance.
The R35 is a poser of a car, with a proposed V8, one might question wether its a true GTR anyway. In Australia, the GTR's have a great history and the R32 was imortalised as being the ultimate V8 eater in an annual race that was called the Bathurst 1000, where it beat the V8's many times in a row, and was then banned from racing. Putting a V8 in the R35 would kill the legend that the R32 worked hard to create and make it a lesser 'legend' of a car than its predecessors. Edited by: kakimoto |

kakimoto,
see, thats what a lot of people are saying here, but I guess Nissan just doesn't care anymore! I don't know what's wrong with them. GT-R should always be 4wd and have an engine from the RB26DETT family. I really don't mind if it had RB30DETT or something ![]() But it should be flat-6 and have TT's. It's mandatory in my opinion- otherwise GT-R will lose its legend and popularity and respect. |

Hello all!
Brendon M,WHATS UP! I am registered on the SDU Forum under EVLTWIN(wanted NIGHTMARE but was taken) Anyway, I went through with the R-32 orderfrom MotoRex U.S.A. and it will be here right after the Holidays! I ended up getting a White 93 GT-R with 35K miles. Can't wait till it gets here! I chose a R-32 because I have all intentions of modding and running this car at the track. I spent much time in different Skyline forums and emailing people to find the overwhelming choice to be the R-32 for my intentions. It is lighter and much more nimble than the other 2, however I love them all, and think they are great cars. Anyway, Hello fello Skyline owners and enthusiasts! NIGHTMARE YOU'RE KICKAZZ!! Getting a GTR that is one sweet ride, make sure you post pics of it once you get it!!
And about the R35 i would wait before passing judgement on a Skyline. If it comes with the R390 engine and still is all wheel drive, than i'm still gonna save for one. Just because the car addes 2 cylinders and another liter of displacment shouldn't kill the cars image. So until i see the R35 and what it can do i'll hold off on any judgement calls. ---------- NISMO 4 EVER |

MY GOD, I have never been faced with such a hair pullign decision! I LOVE them all. Eventhough I am not as a big fan of the R32 compared to the suceeding Skylines(in stock formatleast -for the R32, this one looks killer - but the wheels have to go! The 400R is a monster, how could you not desire that, as if it was Jennifer Lopez ( Ricky Martin for you girls out there) :P The R34 is pure imposing aggressive power, a definite wish I had one of those. And no words can describe the R35 prototype ,although a computer image, even still.... WOW!! I would sell my soul (well maybe a few body organs) to have one! However..I will take them all. However, if I had to choose I guess I will go for the R35! BTW ... WYKKED....The model is a absolute goddess! Do you know her personally? I'd take her over any of those cars......NAW I'd take them both!

u know I think it was kind of dumb for me to start this topic, I mean everyone loves ALL of em including me.
![]() Have any of you guys seen of heard of '71 Skyline GT-R ? It is 1 of my favorite cars. In Japan it is sold at a pretty high-price - $30 to $40, even $50k! I found some pics, but none of em are really good. I'll try to scan one from a book. But believe me, this car looks so much better in life... ahhhhh. ![]() .

You know what this car looks like (the 71' Skyline), if you didn't know what it was, but saw its looks, you'd swear it was a 60's or 70's AMERICAN muscle car. Anyone agree?
